Aromas of sour cherry, red berries, dried herbs, and a touch of spice come through right away. On the palate it’s medium bodied and lively, with bright acidity, fine tannins, and a subtle mineral note that reflects Sicily’s volcanic soils. The finish stays clean and savoury, making this an easygoing red that still has plenty of character.
