The elegance of the wine makes it a super versatile food companion, however, cassoulet with duck confit would be our pick. This wine also makes a fine pairing for a crackling fire and good company.
Production
At Kleinood, not a single detail is overlooked: starting in the vineyard, each half-hectare block is managed separately to ensure the grapes are cared for optimally and plucked just at the right moment. Grapes may go through as many as five passes before they are hand-harvested, hand-sorted and transferred to a fermenter earmarked to receive that particular block. The result is a wine that is truly reflective of its origin.
