Notes of ripe black fruit, sweet tobacco and dark chocolate. Aromatically it offers delightful blackberry, violet, plum, raspberry and smoky notes; on the full-bodied palate, meanwhile, those rich fruit notes are well-matched with white pepper and spice notes as well as modest tannin and medium finish.
Aged for 16 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels and vats. Chalky, layered, exquisite. "This Similkameen Valley Meritage blend is predominately Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon doing most of the rest of the heavy lifting.
