    Product Details

    Héritage 2020 is the flagship red blend from French Door Estate Winery, produced in the Okanagan Valley on the Black Sage Bench near Oliver, British Columbia. Inspired by classic Bordeaux blends, the 2020 vintage is composed primarily of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. The grapes were hand‑harvested, cold‑soaked, and fermented in stainless steel before aging for approximately 16 months in a combination of new and neutral French oak barrels. The wine is dry and medium‑ to full‑bodied, showing layered red and dark fruit, floral and savoury notes, and a mineral, graphite‑tinged finish with dense yet polished tannins, offering both immediate appeal and strong aging potential.
