A full-bodied and lush Cabernet Sauvignon such as this begs to be paired with peppered filet mignon, lamb ragout with sweet peppers, or baked eggplant with tomato sauce.
Production
Comprised mostly of Tierra Roja juice but with a dash of Cabernet Franc from a neighbouring vineyard, the result is an earthy profile with grippy tannins.
Winery
2016 marked the 40th year that Tor Kenward has spent as a vintner in Napa Valley. 27 of those years were dedicated to Beringer Wines where he helped build a company known for its reserve wines. Following his retirement in 2001, Tor and his wife set forth their dream to build their own family operated winery.
