  • Deep and brilliant dark ruby color. On the nose, aromas of red fruits pair elegantly with a touch of spice and wood. Flavors such as cherries and currants standout in the mouth and finish with soft tannins and a pleasant minerality.
  • Pairs well with poultry or red meat, as well with heavier seafood and roasted vegetables.
  • The Willamette Valley Pinot Noir from Résonance is sourced from both estate vineyards (Résonance and Découverte Vineyards) and top vineyards in the Willamette Valley. The wine showcases the absolute best of the Willamette Valley, and elegantly blends Maison Louis Jadot’s winemaking with the Willamette Valley’s signature terroir.
  • The Résonance Vineyard is situated in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, which is located within Oregon’s Willamette Valley, just west of Carlton at the foothills of the Coast Range. It is a 13-hectare property, with 8 hectares of the vineyard planted to Pinot Noir. The vineyard sits on a convex portion of a low, west-east oriented ridge emerging out of the Coast Range and lies at an altitude of 80 to 150 meters above sea level. Soils are primarily Willakenzie (old sedimentary deposits) and Yamhill (ancient submarine basaltic soil). With its non-grafted rootstocks planted in 1981, the dry-farmed vineyard is one of the oldest in the Willamette Valley.
  • 93 POINTS! Wine Spectator, 2016 vintage

"Precise and impressively structured, with refined raspberry, crushed rock and savory tea accents that take on richness and depth toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2024."

93 POINTS! Wine Spectator, 2015 vintage

"Supple and elegantly structured, with expressive raspberry and orange zest aromas and polished flavors that pick up depth and momentum toward a spicy finish. Drink now through 2023."

92 POINTS! Wine Enthusiast, 2014 vintage

"This is the second release this year from Maison Louis Jadot's Oregon project—both wines are labeled Résonance, but this is the Willamette Valley cuvée, not the Résonance vineyard bottling. Some estate fruit is included, and it is a subtle and detailed wine, with pretty mulberry and pie-cherry fruit. Thirteen months in 20% new French oak adds light mocha highlights, and it is as smooth and refined as one might expect from master winemaker Jacques Lardière."
