The 2022 vintage in magnum shows off everything that makes this Bolgheri icon so collectible, with the added bonus of slower, more graceful aging in large format. The wine opens with deep aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum, layered with tobacco, dark chocolate, and subtle Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is full bodied and polished, with dense but refined tannins, excellent freshness, and a long, savoury finish that keeps unfolding in the glass. Rich without feeling heavy, this is a powerful yet elegant Tuscan red built for long cellaring and special occasions.
