A very open, almost soft, Old Vines Syrah. On the richer, fatter and more opulent side look for dark black fruits, licorice, the typical game and leather notes all wrapped in a touch of black pepper.
Hand-picked and fully de-stemmed. Fermented on skins in 2 ton open top fermenters. Basket pressed. Full malolactic fermentation in Neutral French barrique. Raised in a combination of 2-5 year old 500 litre puncheons and barrique. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
