Morandé Black Series Chardonnay is a refined cool climate Chardonnay that highlights one of Chile’s southernmost and most distinctive wine regions. Sourced from vineyards in the Malleco Valley, this wine reflects a slow ripening environment shaped by cool temperatures, volcanic soils, and long growing seasons. The style is focused on elegance and tension rather than richness. Aromas are precise and layered, showing citrus fruits, green apple, and subtle stone fruit alongside delicate nutty notes such as hazelnut and roasted chestnut. On the palate the wine is fresh and linear, with vibrant acidity, a fine textured mouthfeel, and a long mineral driven finish. Carefully integrated oak adds complexity without dominating the fruit, making this Chardonnay both expressive and balanced.
