Production
Originally a part of Mission Hill, Martin’s Lane shocked the world when their 2011 Pinot Noir won “World’s Best Pinot Noir Under ₤15” at the 2013 Decanter World Wine Awards in London. While everyone started to look up “Okanagan” on their maps, Mission Hill decided to cleave the Martin’s Lane project into its own winery, bringing in Shane Munn from New Zealand (by way of Burgundy and Barolo) to concentrate on two cold climate grape varieties: Riesling and Pinot Noir.
Sought after around the world, Martin’s Lane has scored well with Anothony Gismondi, Robert Parker, and Decanter and continues to raise the bar in BC, despite only making 2000 cases per year.
