Pedro Ximenez cask influence adds depth through notes of raisins, toffee, and toasted oak, layered over a robust malt core. On the palate the whisky is broad and mouth filling, with measured warmth, balanced oak grip, and steady acidity keeping the smoke in check. The finish pulls long and savoury, leaving persistent peat and dark fruit tones with a dry, composed close.
