    Louis Latour Château Corton Grancey is the flagship red wine of Maison Louis Latour and one of the benchmark Grand Cru wines of the Corton hill. Made exclusively from Pinot Noir, this wine is produced only in top vintages and represents the most complete expression of Corton’s power and elegance. The wine is a blend of Pinot Noir sourced from several Grand Cru climats on the Corton hillside, selected for their structure, minerality, and depth. In the glass, it shows aromas of dark cherry, cassis, violets, and subtle spice layered with earthy and mineral notes. The palate is full bodied yet refined, with firm but polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long complex finish. Built for long term ageing, Château Corton Grancey rewards patience and develops remarkable nuance over time.

    Château Corton Grancey is located in Aloxe Corton and has been owned by the Latour family since 1891. The wine is sourced from multiple Grand Cru parcels on the Corton hill, including sites such as Bressandes, Perrières, Grèves, Clos du Roi, and Chaumes, with final proportions depending on the vintage. Grapes are hand harvested, fermented traditionally, and aged in French oak barrels coopered by Maison Louis Latour, with a portion of new oak used to enhance structure without overpowering the fruit. This careful selection and élevage approach contributes to the wine’s longevity and consistent quality.
