Food pairing
A great wine to share on social occasions the Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc pairs particularly well with a number of dishes. Vivid and refreshing try it with shellfish such as steamed clams, mussels, oysters or lobsters. For lighter dishes why not sample a glass or two with asparagus risotto, summer salads or grilled chicken.
Winery
Kim Crawford strive to let the natural flavours of the grapes shine through in every glass, their master winemaker, Anthony Walkenhorst, describes himself as the ‘guardian of flavour’ crafting wines that are vibrant, authentic and crisp. In pursuit of this goal they were one of the first wineries in New Zealand to launch their wines in screw caps in an effort to they keep wine fresher than corks. Now it is an industry norm.
