Heady aromas of leather, cassis, blackberry, vanilla and hints of tarragon lead to a palate filled with vibrant cherry, allspice, caramel and cigar box combining to create a soft round mid-palate. The wine finishes with long supple tannins making it approachable in its youth and at the same time showcasing its ability to age for 5-8 years.
This wine is easy to enjoy on its own and will pair well with a nice marbled ribeye, lamb chops or medium to strong cheeses. Try melting Stilton cheese and roasted garlic butter over your ribeye.
