This 2012 Amarone 3 Cru wraps itself in a dense purple with purple reflections and almost black core. The nose is literally flooded like a cornucopia with lush hints of ripe dark berry fruits (blackberry, blueberry), plums, pickled cherries, fig jam, raisins, steamed herbs and fine spice, chocolate, mocha and marzipan. Fine oak wood aromas accentuate the bouquet elegantly. The palate flatters his palate with its rich, mature expression, its density and juiciness, the subtly subdued delicate tannins and - derived from the degree of alcohol - heat. The enjoyment enhances the long-lasting finale with its excellent reverberation of toasted notes.

Producer
Guerrieri Rizzardi, the traditional wine house in the Veneto region, is the union of two ancient Veronese wine producers: Guerrieri, owner of a centuries-old winery with vineyards and cellars in Bardolino, and Count Rizzardi, who acquired their vineyards in Negrar in 1649 and shortly thereafter built the historic cellar of Pojega. In 1913, both families came together through marriage and Guerrieri Rizzardi first appeared on the label in 1914.
