Aromas of pressed apple, light fruitcake, toasted hazelnuts, and warming spice lead into a layered palate of milk chocolate raisins, orange marmalade, roasted coffee, and subtle chilli heat. The mouthfeel is viscous and expressive, with the signature Clynelish oiliness carrying the flavours through to a long, spicy finish marked by lingering citrus and gentle warmth.     Distilled in 2008 at Clynelish Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, this single malt was selected and bottled by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail as part of their Connoisseurs Choice range. The whisky was matured in a single refill sherry hogshead, cask number 311776, allowing the distillery character to remain front and centre while adding depth and spice. Bottled at natural cask strength of approximately 57.3 percent ABV, without chill filtration or added colour, it reflects Gordon & MacPhail’s long‑standing philosophy of minimal intervention and precise cask selection.
