This deep red wine has the juicy aromas of jammy cherries and blueberries combined with fresh chocolate shavings, coffee and smokey bacon. On the palate, this full-bodied, smooth wine has layers of flavours of berries, oak and pepper tones.
Pair with BBQ beef or a hearty stew made with chicken, lamb or beef.
Production
Fruit was sourced from our estate vineyard, two vineyards in the Okanagan and one vineyard in the Similkameen. Our winemaker used both French and American oak barrels to cellar this wine. After aging for 9 months in barrels, the wine was then bottle aged for another 12 months before release.
