    Product Details

    Champ Libre spent five years aging on lees before release and is a blend of Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Pinot Gris. On the nose, expect ripe Gala apple, crisp and bright. The palate shows classic Alsatian character, with soft orchard fruit layered with a delicate sprinkle of marzipan on the finish.

    The base wine begins in oak barrels before undergoing a second fermentation in the bottle. From here, it ages on the lees for fifty months before disgorgement (where dead yeast is removed) and an extra brut dosage (a tiny bit of sugar is added) to soften the taste and enhance flavours.
