Red cherry, pomegranate and violet are on the nose and continue with your first lush sip. Flavours of red cherry and pomegranate initially burst upon your taste buds, promptly followed by black tea, boysenberry, and ripe plums all of which culminate in a smooth finish. This wine is big, yet approachable.
A well balanced blend of grapes from the Okanagan Valley, the 2013 Diabolica Red VQA blend consistd off Merlot 62%, Shiraz 21%, Cabernet Sauvignon 12%, Petit Verdot 2%, Cabernet Franc 2%, Pinot Noir 1%. The final blend is aged for 11 months in French and American oak barrels.
