The strong and distinctive juicy flavours of this wine lend it to partner with a wide range of dishes, for a few ideas why not try the Diabolica Red with a stone baked pizza smothered in tomato sauce, a grilled steak with sautĚŠed mushrooms or certain spicy foods, like an arrabiata sauce with pasta or meat rubs with a kick. If you would rather relax on the patio with a glass and some simple appetizers why not enjoy some assorted olives, kale chips, marinated artichokes or peppers?
Production
A well balanced blend of grapes from the Okanagan Valley, the 2013 Diabolica Red VQA blend consistd off Merlot 62%, Shiraz 21%, Cabernet Sauvignon 12%, Petit Verdot 2%, Cabernet Franc 2%, Pinot Noir 1%. The final blend is aged for 11 months in French and American oak barrels.
