The aroma of the wine shows notes of ripe fruit, raspberry and plum, complemented by accents of earth and leaves. On the palate the wine has a generous taste with notes of black berries - blackberries, blueberries. Luxury finish with hints of cherry gives the overall scheme of the completeness and depth. The wine has good acidity and a nice tannic base.
The wine will be an excellent complement to pasta with meat, stewed mushrooms, grilled meat or barbecue.
Winery
The name "Matteo Correggio" is an asteroid discovered in 1984. In the dedication says: "Matteo Correggio (1961-2001), a resident of the area of Roero Piedmont - one of the greatest winemakers in Italy. Despite his youth, his outstanding talent, dedication and modesty have earned him a well-deserved respect and recognition of international experts in the field of winemaking".
