Aromas show blackcurrant, blackberry, and black plum, layered with dried sage, mint, and darker notes of chocolate and espresso. The palate is full bodied and firm, with substantial but polished tannins supported by fresh acidity that keeps the wine controlled and balanced. Dark fruit flavours are joined by savoury herbal character, subtle oak spice, and a mineral note that carries through the finish.
