Originally from New Zealand, with a breadth of experience including the role as head winemaker at Phantom Creek Estates, Ross Wise has earned the prestigious title of Master of Wine, a status which only 396 people worldwide have achieved since the program began back in 1953. He becomes only the seventh in Canada and the fourth in BC to be awarded the honour. Since arriving in the Okanagan Valley in 2016, Wise has furthered his knowledge by studying organic and biodynamic viticulture, building on his Bachelor of Viticulture and WSET Level 4 diploma.
