This Helles style lager was brewed with Weyerman Barke pilsner malt and hopped with Magnum and Mittelfruh. During the brewing process a technique called decoction which involves boiling a portion of the mash in an effort to impart deeper richer malt character into the finished beer. The result is a clean and drinkable lager with a more pronounced malt character and subtle hop presence and bitterness.
