    This 10 Year Old Glen Elgin reflects the softer, quietly expressive side of Speyside when bottled with restraint and minimal intervention. Selected by Adelphi and presented at 46% without chill filtration or colouring, the focus is on natural texture and the distillery’s gently rounded spirit rather than overt oak influence. The nose leans towards malt sweetness, light orchard fruit, and subtle floral notes, with hints of honey and cereal grain underneath. On the palate, the whisky is medium bodied and composed, offering flavours of baked apple, vanilla cream, and fresh malt framed by balanced acidity. Oak remains well judged, adding structure without heaviness, and the finish is clean and steady, tapering into soft spice and lingering sweetness. A thoughtful, understated Speyside single malt that rewards measured drinking and attention to detail.
