    Selected from a single first fill PX sherry hogshead, this 2015 vintage Linkwood highlights the distillery’s naturally elegant spirit through a more concentrated, cask strength lens. Bottled by Adelphi after a decade of maturation, the whisky balances richness and precision rather than leaning purely on sherry weight. Aromas open with dried fruit, cocoa, honeyed malt, and candied orange, supported by subtle oak and nut tones. The palate is full and textured, showing flavours of toffee, raisin, dark chocolate, and sweet spice, with the elevated strength bringing structure rather than heat. Linkwood’s floral core and bright acidity remain present throughout, guiding the whisky into a long, drying finish marked by sherry depth, gentle bitterness, and lingering malt sweetness. A composed, confident Speyside single cask that rewards slow, attentive drinking.
