Food pairing
Ros̩ has no boundaries; it loves all occasions. Brunch anyone? All foods get excited to see their pink pal including seafood, white meats, casseroles, paninis, pork, flirty foul in exotic sauces and even delicate red meats.
Production
The Estates Pinot Noir Rose is made exclusively from vineyard blocks grown for the purposes of producing this wine. The grapes are cultivated to focus fruit flavours towards the red fruit bandwidth rather than the dark fruit spectrum typical of the estates Pinot Noir. Once ripened, the bunches are selectively hand harvested, destemmed and crushed into a closed fermenter. They are then chilled to almost freezing temperatures, allowing a 48 hour cold soak period on skins until the desired color is reached, and a touch of skin tannin is extracted. The juice is then pressed and cold settled. Cold fermentation then begins in stainless steel tanks for maximum aromatic expression.

Our Pinot Noir Ros̩ is made exclusively from vineyard blocks grown for the purposes of producing this wonderful wine.��Seasonal variances help us decide which blocks we use for this special social selection. The grapes are cultivated to focus ripe berries towards the lighter red fruit flavours (like strawberries and cranberries).
