Production
Perched at 450m above the glistening Tyrrhenian Sea, Tenuta Prima Pietra is the highest vineyard along the Tuscan coast where it is exposed to full and intense light that imparts vitality to the vines and in turn, the wine. At Prima Pietra, a natural organic approach to winemaking is embraced and all chemicals have been eliminated from the process. Winemaker Cecilia Leoneschi's philosophy is that this style of grape growing allows the wine to be a proud ambassador of the vintage's harvest while expressing the personality of each single varietal.
