Production
The wine was fermented in stainless steel tank and pumped over twice daily. Aged for 20 months in 40% new French Oak and 60% second and third use French Oak barrels.
Winery
Charles Wetmore Cabernet Sauvignon has a great expression of Livermore Valley, with fruit sourced from our diverse soils such as our clay hillside vineyards and those planted on gravelly alluvial fans. These provide us with a Cabernet with bold tannins and ripe fruit characteristics, which coupled with the natural acidity from the long growing season, creates a beautiful wine.
