Tasting Notes
Deep, dark purple in colour with distincitve and defined notes of green olive, floral, white chocolate, and toasted walnut. A tight, focused palate with starting flavours of pomegranate and cranberry that evolve into bright red plum and nectarine and finally mesh with brazil nut and creme brulee. A medium-bodied youthful wine with softened tannins.
Winemaker Notes
An elegant, medium-weight style with velvety texture and fine tannins, matured in both French and American oak. It is a sleek, contemporary wine yet crafted in the old fashioned way in the 120+ year old winery.
Food Pairing Notes
A perfect match for beef wellington or duck confit.
