Tasting Notes
O Pensador is a blend of Portuguese grapes, driven by Aragones and Trincadeira, plus 10% Touriga Nacional, Portugal’s best, commonly used for Port. The other 10% is Cabernet Sauvignon. I always find it fun to taste a good wine made of something other than the Cabernet-Merlot-Shiraz triumvirate, or the currently ubiquitous Malbec. Expect a coffee on the nose followed by easy drinking fresh-fruit flavors on the palate.

O Pensador Red Blend 3.0L is one of our best deals at only $8.24 per btl. This wine is great for either camping or the boat, when kept in the shade or in cooler temperatures on open cask of red wine can last from four to six weeks.

Just bought this wine after having it recommended by the staff. After trying a number of really schlocky boxed wines. I have to say I really like this wine! What a find! It has more body than most boxed wines. My favourite cheap wine up until now was Finca Los Primos but this is better value for money and really comparable for quality .
