Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red color. Its complex aromas of black fruits, such as blackberries, black cherries, blueberries, cassis, are complemented with spices such as black pepper, tobacco and balsamic notes. On the palate it shows good structure with velvety, soft tannins; fresh with delightful balance.

Vineyard Notes
For the production of the reserve range, Finca El Origen owns exceptional vineyards in the Uco Valley, La Esperanza vineyards, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, 1.200 mts asl. The Uco Valley sub appellation is one of the most promising wine regions within the province of Mendoza. This area lies southeast of the capital city. The medium to low fertility soils are very permeable and well drained. Due to its altitude, the climate is mild, despite the great differences in temperature between night and day. The vineyards are also naturally healthy, thanks to the warm, dry breezes that blow throughout the vineyard's spring and summer growth cycle.

Comprised of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7.5% Malbec and 7.5% Syrah.
Food Pairing Notes
Delicious with grilled meats and spicy sauces. A spicy curry is also a great combination.
Other Notes
Aged 6 months in French oak.
