Time of Day
Are you having a day or evening wedding? Most people will drink lighter style wines during the day, especially if your wedding is outdoors and the sun is shining!
 

Time of Year
Is your reception scheduled for the summer or winter? The season could make a difference in which wine you decide to serve your guests. Lighter style wines, such as Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are more popular in the summer. In the winter most prefer something a little more full-bodied, such as a Chardonnay or Shiraz.
 

Menu
Always consider the food before you choose the wine. Pairing the food with the right wine can truly enhance the overall enjoyment of both.
 

Budget
Before you choose your wine it is important to figure out your budget. Consider how many people are attending your wedding and what quantity you will need.
 

Quantity
There is no magical answer to this question. One thing we do know is that it is always better to have too much than too little! Remember that there is approximately 5 glasses of wine in each bottle. Always take into consideration what other alcoholic beverages you will have available.

Packaging
The packaging of a wine is only for presentation value. Using the same brand for both your white and red wine selection makes for a nice presentation, however this is not imperative.
