Back To School With Everything Wine!
You asked and we delivered! Everything Wine and Vindustry Wine Academy are offering a four part introductory wine course! Topics include major grape varieties and winemaking regions, grape growing and the winemaking process and of course lots of great practical wine tasting experience! Justin McAuliffe, sommelier at C Restaurant in Vancouver is your instructor and will introduce you to the amazing world of wine. Sessions run each Tuesday in September from
6:30-9 pm with half an hour at the end of each class set aside for guided wine shopping.

Chateauneuf-du-Pape Spectacular
The wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape are a wine lover's dream. Located in the southern Rhone these mostly red wines can be made from up to 13 grape varieties including Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. Tony and Kasey's Best of Food and Wine 6-7pm LIVE!
Join wine and food gurus Anthony Gismondi and Kasey Wilson at the North Vancouver Tasting Bar as they broadcast their AM 650 show live from the store. Executive Chef Quang Dang of Diva at the Met and Michael Dinn of Joie Farm Winery are the special guests. Niagara-on-the-Lake Tasting 2-6 pm
We're featuring the wines of Chateau de Charmes at this tasting. Founded in 1978, Chateau de Charmes was the first vineyard in Canada to plant 100% Vinifera vines. Today, the vineyard sites total over 270 acres and the winery continues to produce award winning 100% VQA wines. Join us for a taste!

Sipping Along the Ribera Del Duero 2-5 pm
The Ribera Del Duero is home to some of Spain's most prestigious red wines. Vineyards are found along both sides of the Duero river with production dedicated mostly to red wine, in particular the Tempranillo grape. High altitude, limestone soils, warms summer days and cool summer nights are just a few of the reasons for the impressive wines found here. Don't miss this opportunity to taste some gems from this fascinating Spanish wine region.

World renowned wine critic, James Halliday has rated Langmeil Winery five stars for the past five years placing it amongst the top echelon of Australian wineries. This special tasting features James Lindner of Langmeil who will be at the Tasting Bar chatting and pouring these Aussie favourites.

Mapema from Argentina 4-7 pm
If you have an affinity for people who make unforgettable wines and boast impressive credentials that stand up to any big name in winemaking you'll want to taste the Mapema wines. This new winery was started by winemaking giant, Jose Galante who recently left his post of 34 years as chief winemaker at Catena. The Mapema first vintage has already received impressive scores from Wine Spectator so don't miss this great opportunity to try what's hot and new out of Argentina.
