Gina Savard hails from Southern California, the land of fresh produce and world-class wine regions. Both these things came to influence Gina greatly as she grew up, instilling in her the importance of seasonality and honest food and wine pairing. Across a spectrum of careers, Gina's passion for wine and food never faded; instead, it grew steadily. She attended WSET, the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (the world-wide leading body in wine education) and completed her Level 3, solidifying her palate with the necessary knowledge to understand the complexities of the grape as it becomes wine. Gina joined the team at Everything Wine in the spring of 2007, taking on the role of Events Coordinator. She also consults for private clients on topics ranging from cellar management and development to food and wine pairings for corporate or private dinners. "Everyone should have access to, and understand, good wine,” Gina says. "Because it is true...life is too short to drink bad wine."
